Shoemaking wax WG-A

Awl Glide Wax is a specially formulated synthetic wax blend designed to improve the glide of shoemaking awls when piercing leather.

Applied directly to the awl blade, the wax reduces friction between the tool and the leather, helping the awl penetrate dense or multiple layers more smoothly and with less resistance. This can make repetitive piercing more controlled and comfortable, particularly during traditional hand shoemaking operations such as inseaming and outsole stitching.

Awl Glide Wax is intended for the awl itself rather. Simply press or draw the awl blade lightly through the wax as needed during work.

Suitable for shoemaking, shoe repair and other leatherworking operations where an awl is used to pierce firm or thick leather.
